Iowa wind energy usage in 2012

According to the July 2013 from eia.gov 19% of Iowa's energy usage was from wind in 2011.

It looks like 2013 will have continued significant increases in wind energy usage and the trend will continue for the next several years.
As a side note, an option for radically increasing the efficiency of electricity production is to store it in a battery using
eos energy technology. This is rather new and I will try to keep an eye on this technology as it develops and see how well it is received. The idea and goal is that it will be cost effective in 18 months from the date of this post.
