This is not the best place to list this, but it just dawned on me that the internal server error occurs when example code is listed on the page and I have not recently been able to replicate the bug when sample code is not listed. Considering that javascript is now always located in the head of the page and not within the page I may be able to update the pcre that replaces hyphens with dashes with a simpler version. I may even be able to replace it with a str_replace(), which would be great, but I really need to think on this before I undertake it; not because it is a big project or hard to do, but because I really need to look at it from all angles first. I don't want to break temporarily or permanently some articles or code.
