Why create normalized tables for the articles? Oddly enough I can't think of any good reasons. Well, if I wanted to rename a category I only need to edit one line. Before I would have had to edit all of the files involved without making any mistakes. It makes for better coding practices and is good practice to work with normalized tables again. I suppose those reasons are good enough.
