Ok, just got the heating for the house inspected and learned several good things:
- Gorilla tape is a good choice for sealing things.
- When sealing duct pipes with screws, (machine screws I think) it is a good idea to do three screws around the pipe.
- The sealed drain was for a toilet at one point and if I want to add a toilet in the basement, I should ask plumber to look at it first.
- The drain I was using for the dehumidifier is, in fact, a drain.
- An AC inspection should be done while it is at least 65 degrees outside.
- The heating unit is about 18 years old and has a lot of life and is in good condition.
- Cheaper filters are actually better.
I'm really grateful to God for the house I have. He has really blessed me and I
sooo don't deserve any of it.
