Today I was able to contact the plumbing people and they are actually coming tomorrow to install the part they ordered for the water heater.  Remember, that the last time they came by was 10/31/25.  It'll be nice to be able to take a hot shower again.

I did a fair amount of shopping today and spent maybe $200 on groceries, but I suspect some of those items will last 2 - 3 years, so I'm fine with it.  I also replaced some more lightbulbs.  This time I bought a 10 pack and it was apparently a good choice.  I want to head back tomorrow and buy a few more of the 100 watt lightbulbs for the basement.  Maybe only 2 to start.

I did get a fair amount of work done cleaning up the two big piles of wood in the backyard and chopping them up with my chop saw into more manageable sizes.  It rather makes me wish I had a fireplace, because those branches are just the right size.  Ah, well.

Besides that, I mostly did some minor cleaning.
