It's not a lot of fun to have an uncertain future, but that is the way things are at present.  I am not sure if I will be living where I am at for a few months or 2 more years or what.  I don't know what my financial status will be from week to week.  I can only rely on God to provide for me during this time and be thankful for every week I can work.

It is important to me to pass boards and so I am putting website development on a long hiatus until I do become licensed.  I need to study whenever I can.  Website design just leaches away my time as does surfing the net.  I am also not playing video games or reading much or anything that I feel will take away from studying.  

I probably should keep reading though, because it helps to keep my mind fit, but I need to be careful about what I read so that it does not become a time leach like video games or surfing the net or tv.  With those things I can feel my mind atrophy.  The same has become true of web design as well lately.  

All of these activities are fine until they start detracting from what I am supposed to be doing.  Still, I can't spend my time only studying, so cautiously I am adding, with tight limitations, recreational reading.

To be honest I find doing those recreational things hard, because when I think about doing them I start thinking about how I really should be studying.  Guilt keeps me from enjoying those other activities and fear keeps me from studying.  All in all it means that I get very little done.
