kk, so I did purchase the
Kobo Sage despite the negative things I heard about the battery life. I'll try it out for myself and see what I think.
The size seemed perfect for how I want to use it. Here is what I hope to get out of it:
- A library at my fingertips
- Easier to navigate than a library
- The ability to take notes that do not permanently mark up the book
- Ability to use it as a notepad. In a real way this is like having my website at my fingertips, but offline
- It is liquid paper and not a screen. This is a big deal for me as I try to get away from screens in general
- I can take it anywhere
- The subscription plans and pricing are good and look better than Audible
The size and features made me think that the Kobo Sage was the best choice, but it is possible that the
Kobo Elipsa 2E is better. There's no way to know for sure until the Kobo Sage arrives and I really have a chance to use it.
