There wasn't too much to write home about with the last few versions of Opera; mostly bug fixes and minor improvements. The most significant was faster load times in Opera 41.
In Opera 43 Developer we have address bar prerenderer. This will intelligently start to load the pages that you are probably going to visit. Horizontal mouse movements will now select text from links instead of dragging the link. very useful and Opera 12 users will remember that one.
Opera 42 Beta has the rss reader in the address bar so that it operates much like the Opera 12 rss reader did. Right click on the left sidebar will bring up the option to select which items you would like displayed in the sidebar.
