The plumber came by Friday, 9/18/26, to fix a leaky faucet.  It was $250 and well worth it.  The faucet was replaced and was was the shutoff valve in the basement as it was not doing anything.  A little bit of pipe was replaced too.

A few things are progressing regarding the house and life in general.  I have a dentist appointment next Friday where I plan to be a bit more proactive proactive regarding having my teeth looked at more closely than they have been looked at.  Tomorrow, I hope to get my rocking chair refurbished.

I've been working on making more jerky today and yesterday.  It is a bit of work, but rewarding.

Upgrading the windows has become a much higher priority for me, but I still have one or two other items that are even higher priority.  I hope to make an appointment to get one or two people over to look at the windows before the year is out or else very early next year.

I am on vacation until Tuesday, but I do feel a little bit stir crazy with all of the rain at the moment.  I want to work outside and mow and more.
