site version 3.51.37
search version 3.12
added a new feature to the search program to allow me to determine how many results to display on the search page
I should add an option that will allow regular visitors to be able to determine how many results they want to have displayed per page.
It looks like my interest is back into the construction of the search feature again. True, it works well enough the way it is, but I think that I am moving closer to making the program self–sustaining. If I continue it will be able to be copied and added to anyone's site with almost no editing. The way it is now it will only work on my site, but it is be simple enough that someone with a moderate amount of php expertise could adapt it to their site.
Next up will be to figure out a way to get the program to detect the tables and columns that are in the database. Honestly, though that sounds rather intimidating to do, so version 3.13 might take a bit of time to accomplish.
EDIT: one bug was just detected where using the check boxes does not return results.
