Gonna head to the store and get a few items, but soon I hope to get to work on a couple more scripts. The first is designed for mass editing of MySQL tables. I want to expand the
PHP –– str_replace script some more and turn it into a program. I think there is potential in that script to make it more useful. Way on the back burner is finishing the MySQL program for normalized tables.
Deleted 9 old junk files, moved one and renamed another. As a website grows it becomes increasingly important to learn new and more efficient ways and more advanced ways to manage your data. Includes greatly help out, but as I add more programs I also end up having more files and a larger database as well. Ways to keep my website easy to manage include the use of includes, organizing files into folders, storing data into a database, and variable programs to easily sort the data whether it be image galleries or the latest files that are displayed on the main page. There are numerous other ways that I also use for security reasons or to search my site via the search program.
