K, I got some of it figured out. Apparently you can't insert a value of 0 into a table in which the column has the auto increment value set. This can be altered if I had administration rights, but I do not. You can read about it here: How

The simple solution to this is to turn off auto increment for that table and use a code snippet that I am currently updating to insert your row at the correct location. The "correct location" being the row that auto increment would assign it to if it were behaving as it should.
It is late. I'll have to work on this some more later.
