Marvel updated their website. That's fine and good, but it also means that I have to update a fair number of links. Updating links means doing a lot of wading through their massive site to relocate the links to their articles, which is a big reason why I am very tempted to copy several of their articles so that I don't lose them, because links change.
Sigh
Well, as of this posting I have already found a few of the important links I wanted, but this is going to take time and I fear that some may be lost since Marvel.com is now using a great deal of ajax scripting, which makes direct linking of web pages difficult. Remember folks, one of the important aspects of a website is that the information is easy to find. Another very important aspect of a site is to keep it simple and NOT flashy. Flashy usually goes hand in hand with annoying and/or vulgar.
I recently updated my site from one version number to the next. You may notice that the site does not look like a completely different site. No, the site has slowly evolved into what it is today and I think it has really grown.
I do love Marvel, though, provided I can still easily access their comics.
