01/26/22: The Oregon Court of Appeals admits states that Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries (BOLI) acted with bias against the bakers' religion, however they sent the case back to BOLI to render further judgement against the Kleins. The Kleins plan to appeal the decision to the Oregon Supreme Court next. ref

This is bad news for the Kleins and upsetting to hear. The persecution against the Kleins for their Christian faith for the past 9 years needs to end.

This is an update on the third and ongoing case against Jack Phillips who has been actively targeted for his Christian faith and his refusal to make a custom cake celebrating a "gender transition".

07/25/22 Date set by Judge Eric Bradshaw for a jury to deliberate over disputed facts in the case. ref1, ref2

This case has been radio silent for just under THREE YEARS. It is good to finally get an update. The last decision was in favor of Cathy Miller when Kern County Superior Court Judge David Lampe ruled Cathy Miller does not have to be forced to create custom cakes that violate her religion while the case proceeds.

Note that the article linked above makes the long standing lie that Cathy Miller refuses to make wedding cakes for same sex couples. The truth is that she refuses to make a cake that violates her Christian faith. She will gladly sell same sex couples any wedding cake in her store. She refuses to obey an order to design a custom cake that violates her Christian faith.
